Marketing Manager
Lead a contemporary art gallery’s marketing, brand, and audience growth in Dubai — transform programs into compelling narratives, drive data-driven campaigns, and build global partnerships.
We are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead a gallery’s external positioning, audience growth, and marketing initiatives across exhibitions, commercial activity, and strategic partnerships.
This role combines brand development, content strategy, and audience engagement, requiring a profile with strong project management skills, commercial awareness, and a deep understanding of the contemporary art ecosystem.
Responsabilities:
The ideal candidate will be able to translate the gallery’s artistic programme into compelling narratives. Some of the main responsibilities include:
Marketing strategy & brand development
• Develop and implement the gallery’s annual marketing and communications strategy aligned with commercial and artistic objectives.
• Define and maintain a consistent brand identity across all external touch points.
• Identify opportunities to increase visibility locally and internationally.
• Monitor marketing performance and propose data-driven improvements.
Digital marketing & content
• Manage the gallery’s digital presence across website, social media platforms, and newsletters.
• Develop and oversee content calendars aligned with exhibitions, artist projects, and events.
• Create and coordinate high-quality visual and editorial content.
• Monitor analytics and audience engagement across digital channels.
• Coordinate paid campaigns where relevant.
Communications & PR
• Draft and edit press releases, newsletters, exhibition texts, and marketing materials.
• Coordinate relationships with media, editors, PR agencies, and cultural partners.
• Manage press outreach and support media opportunities.
• Develop communication plans for exhibitions, launches, and public programming.
Audience development & client engagement
• Support initiatives to attract and retain new collectors, visitors, institutions, and cultural audiences.
• Coordinate CRM communication campaigns and maintain audience segmentation.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create targeted collector communication.
• Develop partnerships and collaborations that expand gallery reach.
Exhibitions & events
• Lead communication plans for exhibitions, openings, talks, and special events.
• Support visibility and activation strategies during art fairs.
• Coordinate production of catalogues, presentations, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with artists and external contributors on communication assets.
Reporting & Coordination
• Track KPIs including audience growth, campaign performance, media coverage, and lead generation.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and external suppliers where required.
• Coordinate across gallery departments to ensure consistent messaging.
Required profile:
• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in marketing, communications, or audience development within a gallery, museum, cultural institution, luxury, or creative environment.
• Proven experience developing and executing marketing campaigns.
• Strong understanding of the contemporary art ecosystem and collector audiences.
• Experience managing social media strategy, newsletters, and digital marketing tools.
• Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
• Strong project management and organisational capabilities.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic is considered an advantage

📍 Location: Dubai, UAE
