We are looking for a partner to lead and grow the sales department of a contemporary art gallery in Madrid, specialized in the representation and promotion of visual artists.
An entrepreneurial individual with a commercial mindset and sensitivity to art, who wants to be part of a purposeful project with high growth potential. This collaboration is intended for someone who wants to be involved from within, taking part in strategic decision-making and playing an active role in the commercial expansion of the project.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sales strategies (in-person, digital, and art fairs).
• Expand and maintain client relationships (collectors, interior designers, companies, and institutions).
• Represent the gallery at industry events and expand the network of collaborators.
• Propose marketing initiatives linked to sales, from digital to in-person events.
• Design commercial campaigns and promote artists in coordination with the director.
• Develop tailored proposals for clients, including advising on artwork selection.
• Manage post-sale follow-up, ensuring an excellent client experience and fostering long-term relationships.
• Collaborate on the definition of the business model, pricing, commission structure, and growth roadmap.
• Oversee key sales metrics, produce regular performance reports, and suggest continuous improvements.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the art, luxury, or related sectors.
• Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented profile.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Genuine interest in taking an active role in the project.
• High level of Spanish and English.
