We are looking for a Fine Art Technician for a shipping & logistics company.

You will take on a vital role in managing the handling, packaging, and transportation of artworks, antiques, and interior design pieces, safeguarding their condition and security throughout the entire process—from collection to installation.

Your meticulous approach and specialized skills will be instrumental in maintaining the excellence of our service and ensuring client satisfaction.

Some of the main responsibilities include:

• Safeguard the artworks: Handle artworks, antiques, and design furniture with care, employing best practices to preserve their condition and integrity.

• Conduct condition reports: Prepare detailed documentation of each item's condition before and after handling, ensuring comprehensive traceability and protection.

• Expert packaging and protection: Select and apply the most suitable materials and techniques (e.g., crating, padding, foam) to minimize transportation risks and ensure safe delivery.

• Loading and unloading: Securely load and unload items from trucks, using proper fixation methods and lifting equipment when necessary.

• Track and store Items: Utilize our inventory management system to monitor and document the location, movement, and status of every piece.

• Collaborate across teams: Work closely with logistics, warehouse, and customer service teams to streamline operations and ensure seamless coordination.

Experience and skills required:

• Previous experience in art packing or handling high-end furniture, with a strong focus on mitigating risks associated with fragile, valuable items.

• Skilled in operating warehouse equipment such as dollies, pallet trucks, and carts, with the ability to safely handle heavy objects.

• Proficient understanding of warehouse logistics and storage systems for accurate item tracking.

• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
